palace
direction, design, and video production for "palace" by victor00/metabiite, shot on location in austin, texas. the project developed a cohesive visual language rooted in the artist's sonic and conceptual practice * blending performance, place, and mood into a single sustained image, without losing the intimacy of the music in production scale.
a single sustained image. performance, place, and mood blended into one continuous visual experience that holds the artist's sonic world without cutting away from it.
performance, place, and mood treated as a single axis * the camera stays with the artist and the landscape, letting the environment carry as much narrative weight as the performance itself.
the video was completed and released, establishing a visual language for the artist's debut that carried across subsequent promotional materials.
